annual campaigns
The month of April is the Make our Match Campaign. For every dollar we raise during this time frame, Chuck Brown Ford will match that amount up to $5000. This campaign was started in 2018 and has been a huge success.
We want to thank Chuck Brown Ford for all their support and to everyone that donates to the make or match campaign.
PROJECTS
How We Work
Turtle Wing serves as a resource hub, not only connecting families who have children with learning challenges to the needed services in the area, but helping them afford those services, and partnering with local organizations and businesses to create new opportunities.

Turtle Wing is dedicated to changing lives. The Foundation’s goal is to help individuals “fly” academically, socially, and spiritually.
-
Academically: In programs such as academic tutoring, academic coaching, and learning labs, participants can grow in their ability to learn and progress in their education.
-
Socially: In programs such as social skills groups, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Aged-Out Programming, participants are provided the opportunity to create and maintain friendships, interact properly in social situations, and have the same enriching experiences as their peers.
-
Spiritually: All of Turtle Wing’s providers & programs allow the individuals participating to be fully comfortable in who they are, learn and grow from their hardships, and persevere towards the best quality of life possible. The Foundation strives to create a culture of acceptance within the communities it serves.
Below is our Provider Network, which is a list of major providers within Fayette, Lavaca, and Colorado County that provide the services that are beneficial to those with learning challenges. For more information on these providers, if you are in need of services not listed, or if you have any questions, please reach out to us!

Turtle Wing also offers our Parent Support Network, which hosts family outings multiple times a year, as well as educational opportunities for parents and caregivers.
